The priests:
Fr Mark Withoos (foreground), Fr Alex Redman (2 rows back left), Fr Martin Edwards (3 rows back left),
Fr Bede Rowe (bareheaded, looking over Fr Withoos' shoulder) and Fr Gerard Byrne (biretta, peeping of Fr Withoos' shoulder) entering Chartres Cathedral at the end of the Pilgriamge
It's never too early to start planning for the Pilgrimage!  Next year, the Pilgrimage from London begins on Friday, 22 May 2014 with Mass at 7:00 am in Westminster Cathedral Crypt.  If it helps your planning, the May Bank Holiday will coincide with the French WhitMonday Holiday.  Be there!

You might find this Youtube Video, prepared by Michael Matt of the US Chapter shortly before this year's Pilgrimage, of interest.

All over for another year!

Home at Last!
The enigmatic caption to the above photo refers not just to our return from yet another uplifting (but gruelling) Pilgrimage between the two great Gothic Cathedrals of France, but also to the Reception into full communion with the Catholic Church of Mr Richard Windsor, here pictured.  Richard was received on the Wednesday before the Pilgrimage and received his First Holy Communion during a private Mass in Notre Dame de Paris.  It took 42 years of marriage, 18 Pilgrimages by his wife and 7 of his own to finally do the trick, but there is no mistaking that smile of satisfaction!  Deo Gratias!
